I took a step back from social media to reflect and take a better perspective of myself and my governance or style of leadership. After a few weeks of introspection & silence, I have realized a few things:
1. Good governance and a bloated ego are hard to combine. Aaminin kong medyo yumabang ako sa ilang mga bagay-bagay. For this, I ask for your kind understanding, forgiveness and patience. Tao lang po.
2. Social Media must be used as a means to do greater good rather than the usual self-promotion: Aksyon, pagbabago at resulta ang hanap ng lahat.
3. While my responsibilities are within the LGU and/or as Governor, that does not mean I cannot fight for national issues that also affects the people of Cavite. Meanwhile, here are some of the things I have been working on the past month. I shall report to all of you again in the next few days:
1. Napirmahan na ang kontrata ng #CaviteFreeWiFi para sa lalawigan. May kasunduan na po ang PLDT Enterprise at ang Province of Cavite. Ang mga detalye nito ay ilalahad ko sa FB Live next week.
2. Tuloy-tuloy po ang coordination ng Capitolyo, Highway Patrol Group ng PNP at LTO para sipulin ang overcharging at overcrowding sa mga PUB/PUJ. Ang resulta ng follow-up operations at report ay ilalathala ko sa mga susunod na araw.3. May kasunduan na rin ang ating lalawigan at NOVAVAX* para sa 1,500,000 doses ng COVID-19 Vaccine. Ito ay tinatayang darating sa susunod na dalawang buwan.
