Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite – Cavite Police Provincial Office arrested 17 individuals in Anti-Criminality Drive and 4,061 Quarantine Violators were recorded over the last 24 hours.
In the campaign against illegal drugs, three (3) individuals were arrested in 2 buy-bust operations conducted in Imus City and Cavite City. Police confiscated 1 piece of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as shabu and 3 pieces of SHTPS of dried leaves suspected as Marijuana, drug money and other drug paraphernalia.
In the campaign against wanted persons, six (6) persons were arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of Robbery in Carmona; Violation of RA 9262 (Violence against Women and Children) in Tanza; Violation of RA 1161 as amended by RA 8282 (Social Security Law) in Imus City, for crime of RIR in Serious Physical Injuries and Damage to Property in Dasmariñas City and Estafa in Cavite City.
One person was arrested for Violation of RA 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearms) and Alarms and Scandal in Silang, Cavite. Police confiscated 1 unit of short firearm caliber .38 revolver Smith and Wesson and 15 pieces of live ammunitions.
Three (3) suspects were arrested for their involvement in Robbery incident in Imus City, Trespass to Dwelling incident in Bacoor City, and Unjust Vexation in General Trias City.On the other hand, four thousand sixty-one (4,061) Quarantine violators were recorded provincewide. Four hundred fifteen (415) have no face masks; 700 wore improper face masks; 1,736 no face shields; 757 wore improper face shields; 53 violated social distancing; and 400 violated Curfew Hours.
Cavite Police gave warning to 4,013 violators; 42 paid fines; and 6 undergone community services.CAVITE PNP will remain committed to the PNPs thrust and programs to ensure peace and security in the province of Cavite.
